Everton have reportedly added a Liverpool attacker to their summer transfer plans.

The Blues are preparing for a big season as they are set to complete their move from Goodison Park to their new stadium, bizzarly named after a law firm.

The move is part of a wider plan to modernise and bring in more commercial revenue — a reality many clubs in the Premier League are facing.

Ahead of their move to Hill Dickinson Stadium, Everton have set their sights on signing Ben Doak.

This is according to The Telegraph, who reveal that the Toffees the Scotland winger is one of those David Moyes’ side is watching ahead of a potential move this season.

“Everton are considering a summer move for Liverpool’s Scotland winger Ben Doak as David Moyes’ rebuilding plans take shape,” The Telegraph report said.

“Doak is among those whose situation is being watched should Liverpool decide to cash in on the highly rated 19-year-old, who spent the first half of last season on loan at Middlesbrough.”

Doak enjoyed a productive loan spell at Middlesbrough, where he made 24 appearances, scored three goals, and registered seven assists.

However, surgery on a thigh injury he suffered earlier this year means that he will no longer play for the Championship club.

 Doak is back at Liverpool to recover ahead of the summer, where he is likely to attract interest from Premier League and Championship sides.

While, they are not looking to sell the player, Liverpool are “braced” for interest in Doak. The Athletic recently confirmed that the Reds would only consider a transfer for more than £30 million.

The Telegraph also confirmed this report, stating “Liverpool are not proactively looking to offload the teenager, who was signed from Celtic in 2022 as a possible star of the future.

He is valued at £30 million.”
